I'm an award-winning writer, musician, and educator exploring the dark intersections of technology, society, and human connection. As a high school literature teacher specializing in Gothic literature, I bring Edgar Allan Poe's timeless themes into dialogue with contemporary fears and social upheaval.

Featured in the LA Times, my artistic work spans multiple mediums, challenging genre boundaries and exploring complex societal themes. My screenwriting has earned recognition from HorrorHaus, Lift Off NY, 13Horror, and Short Encounters, reflecting my ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with modern audiences.

In this immersive audio experience, a Jewish neuro-streamer returns to pandemic-ravaged New California and discovers that the technology promising to unite humanity has a darker purpose. Set against the backdrop of a nightmarish masquerade hosted by a rapper-turned-politician, THE EMPATHIZER blends Gothic horror with political satire to examine resistance, identity, and the dark side of enforced unity.

Written, narrated, and scored by Jamie Micah, this limited series features completely original music composed and/or curated specifically for the production. Each episode guides listeners through increasingly surreal environments as our protagonist navigates a compound where progressive elites party while the world outside succumbs to disease and chaos.

THE EMPATHIZER represents the culmination of my work across multiple creative disciplines, bridging my experience in Gothic literature education with contemporary social commentary. It creates a narrative that challenges listeners to examine how connection can become control in our increasingly divided society.
